Strange how any city is beautiful from afar.
And like it, a lot of people I have met.
Strange how a few cities are beautiful up close.
And like that, a few people I have met.
even fewer ones, are more beautiful the closer you get. i can definitely say one was like that and remains that way
closer shows small scars, beauty marks, funny little things, faults if you will
and having been that close
(to only have seen the details and not the big picture)
i forget how in a zoom out
oh, wait that's recognizable
and an ever more drastic zoom out
oh wait
it's a mosaic of beautiful things, and the things that stand out are the beautiful things.
